Arizona: Woman injured in dog attack

ARIZONA -- A Sierra Vista woman was bitten several times by dogs that escaped a fenced yard, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.

Sierra Vista Animal Control and Cochise County deputies picked up the four dogs in the 300 block of North First Street and took them to the Huachuca City Animal Shelter.

The woman was bitten more than twelve times by the dogs, according to CCSO.

A neighbor used a golf club to defend the woman from the dogs. They then ran back to a home and into the yard.

CCSO is citing the dog owner with a vicious animal ticket and an animal at large ticket. They did not disclose the breeds of the dogs.
