According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Nicole Hulbig collected more than $92,000 between January of 2013 and April 2014 for her RRR Service Dogs but then used more than $10,000 of those funds on personal items not related to the charity.
The indictment states the money was taken from "various victims."
Hulbig, 30, was charged with one count of theft over $10,000 and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $25,000 bond. She had posted bond by lunchtime Tuesday.
In September, Hulbig pleaded guilty to four counts of animal cruelty in Clarksville. She was sentenced to two days in jail and three years of probation in Montgomery County.
