NEW JERSEY -- A township man is accused of abusing his neighbor's cat.
Gary Schleinkofer Jr. was charged after an investigation into a incident on Thanksgiving Day 2015 in the Fawn Lake Village section of Shamong, according to the Burlington County Humane Police.
Details of the incident were not immediately available.
Schleinkofer, 37, was charged with four counts of animal cruelty, including knowingly tormenting a living creature, Humane Police Officer Armand King said.
He is to appear March 22 in municipal court in Southampton.
