NEW YORK -- While investigating an animal cruelty case, police arrested and charged a local 48-year-old man.
Officers say Theodore J. Robinson Jr. fatally shot one of his neighbor’s dogs then dragged it into the woods to hide it. He also allegedly injured another one of his neighbor’s dogs.
Working with Robinson’s neighbor, they thoroughly investigated the Jan. 25 case, charging Robinson with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and tampering with evidence.
The case will continue through court in the Town of Humphrey.
