Nice Easter story! Deputy Josh Gordon says he was at Higgs Beach today working with his new "wing man" (wing bird?).
This chick was found all by itself in the roadway by the beach....not sure what happened to its mother.
He rescued it and took it to the nearby Wild Bird Center where they will make sure he/she has a safe place to be.
