Minnesota: Cody Haberman is accused of beating cat named Dipper with golf club and shooting it in the eye

MINNESOTA -- A Big Lake man has been arrested for animal cruelty.

Twenty-three-year old Cody Haberman was wanted in Otter Tail County after failing to appear in court.

Authorities say he shot a cat named "Dipper" with an airsoft gun, blinding the cat, at an apartment in New York Mills last November.

Haberman also allegedly hit the cat with a golf club.

Haberman had previously been charged with domestic assault and making terroristic threats.
