Indiana: Charles Richardson, 36, wanted on drug and animal fighting charges

INDIANA -- One of the suspects in IMPD’s “Operation First Step” remains at large.

On Saturday, police arrived at the home of 36-year-old Charles Richardson armed with a warrant, but he wasn’t at home.

His arrest was supposed to be part of IMPD’s largest operation in the department’s history.

But for now, he is “the one that got away,” say police.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest on 8 charges.

According to court documents his charges include; dealing in cocaine manufacture, possession of cocaine, dealing in marijuana, cruelty to an animal, purchasing an animal for use in a fighting contest, promoting an animal fighting contest,  and possession of animal fighting paraphernalia.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Charles Richardson is asked to call Crimestoppers at (317) 262-TIPS.
