AUSTRALIA -- Sickening footage showing a man making a skinned cat dance is being investigated by an animal welfare group.
The RSPCA Western Australian shared an image of the grinning man holding the dead cat in what appears to be a garden shed.
The charity said it is ‘imperative’ the man is found and they have appealed for help from the public to find him.
“The video that was sent to the RSPCA shows graphic content of animal cruelty and that is why its imperative that the RSPCA finds this person,” RSPCA Chief Inspector Amanda Swift told PerthNow.
In the footage the man is seen smirking as he holds onto the cat by the neck and tail, moving it in a stomach-churning dance.
“The video contains things that would be disturbing to any person.”
The Perth RSPCA was sent the footage, before launching the social media campaign to track down the man.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RSPCA on 1300 278 3589
