FLORIDA -- "Pee Wee got attacked by an adolescent pit bull yesterday at
Poochie's Park. She is OK, it could have been much worse. The dog came up to my lap sniffing and before I knew what happened Ariel was screaming and all I could see was teeth. I shudder to think what would have happened if she had been on the ground.
"Moral of the story: never take anything for granted. The park says that they only allow friendly dogs but they are not all screened but rather have to get three strikes to be banned.
"The owners paid the vet bill and were very sorry but the park had an attitude with me at first. They finally did the right thing."
