Tennessee: Elderly woman attacked in her own backyard by neighbor's pit bull

TENNESSEE -- An elderly woman has been rushed to Erlanger hospital after being attacked by a pit bull at the 9400 block of Bayview Drive in Lakeside.

 

Witnesses confirmed to News 12 Now that the woman suffered significant bites on her legs, arms, and hands after the neighbor’s dog went onto her property.

The Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga (HES) is now in possession of the animal because rabies vaccinations were not up-to-date.

The condition of the woman is currently unknown.
