Russia: After police refused to do their jobs, neighbors rescue dog being abused by his owner

RUSSIA -- A dog which was kept as a 'sex slave' and repeatedly sodomized by its owner has now been rescued by animal rights activists.

Locals in Salavat, Russia, called the cops when the sick man was spotted brazenly raping his poor pit bull in a local park.

But when the police refused to intervene, the concerned neighbors contacted animal rights activists who kidnapped the pooch when the depraved owner took it for a walk – and rushed the vulnerable hound to a vet.

The dog, also known as a Staffordshire Pit Bull Terrier, has undergone three operations after being diagnosed with severe internal injuries.

Veterinary doctor Aynur Makaev said that he operated on the pooch for almost three hours and that his team had considered putting him to sleep, but they decided to complete the operation and see if the animal recovered.

He said: "The rectum had deformations which could have formed if it was stretched from the inside."

Animal-rights activist Elena Zhdanova is now caring for the dog called Ramzes and said he was doing well.

She said: "He is really getting better. He regained his appetite and finally managed to relieve himself as well."

According to Zhdanova, after the video and pictures of the wounded dog went viral, the police arrested and questioned the owner.

However prosecutors decided not to press charges against the man and instead have fined him just £30 for offending public decency when he had sex with the dog in the park.

Another animal rights activist Marina Yusupova has started a petition on popular web platform change.org demanding that the man who attacked Ramzes be locked up, before he gets a new pet to sodomize.

Already 9,000 people have signed the petition.
