California: Man walking his Chesapeake Bay Retriever is attacked by loose pit bull

CALIFORNIA -- So proud of our boy- we were attacked by a loose pit bull while walking last night. Our boy showed that pit bull that he chose the wrong people and dog to attack.

Although we spent the night in ER for the injuries to my husband's hand, it could have been much worse.

When I saw Ryder's mouth full of blood, I expected the worst. But Ryder did not get one single mark on him - blood was from the other dog. Love our big brown dog!!
