Linda Sportsman Oh my goodness I hate to hear this. Praying that the baby heals quickly. How awful. What did they do with the bad dog or his owner?

Jeanne Bennett Police are keeping dog under house arrest with owner as don't have room at shelter for the dog. She will be fined and is going to try to help with vet expenses.

Linda Sportsman Hope it isn't a pattern for the pit.some of them are wonderful dogs but an incident like this makes everyone fearful. That happened to us once Rob had Our Lab Shadow at the park, out of nowhere comes two pits running for her. Rob had her on a leach took off running for our Van and literally threw Shadow in as the dogs were trying to drag her out. He grabbed a stick and stuck the one in the rear end. That one yelped and jerked away. The other one still after our girl. Rob fighting it off and the owners appeared and got the dogs. Rob wouldn't talk to them he was so out of breath. He got in Van and came home. In all that he pulled a muscle in his neck and back was on muscle relaxers for 2 weeks. He was fortunate he wasnt bitten. We laughed later when he said he FOUGHT like he was from Taylor Springs. Shadow had no injuries thanks to her brave and scrapy Dad!π
