The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that the incident happened on Oct. 22 at a home along Chinquapin Road in Yadkinville.

Deputies were dispatched to the scene for an animal complaint.

“After conducting an investigation and locating evidence, it was determined that a dog was shot and killed,” Yadkin County deputies said in a statement.

  3. This murderer got a reduced sentence. He plead guilty to a class one misdemeanor. That means he will keep his firearms and will continue to kill peoples companions. People in Surry county beware this murderer has moved in. If pets start disappearing look no further than Julius Potts. If he lives in you neighborhood now be very watchful over you companions. He will kill any animal that ventures onto his property. I hope that no one has to go through the pain and loss that my family has had to endure because of this piece if trash.
