California: Woman searching for her Chihuahua named Romeo after it was attacked by a pit bull

CALIFORNIA -- My friend's Chihuahua was attacked by a pit bull behind Les Schwab on 273 in Redding Thursday 12-8-16. When he finally broke free of the dogs grip he ran for his life heading south.

His name is Romeo and he is brown and white with a white heart on his head. He was wearing a sweater and a black harness with purple leash. His breakaway collar with his ID came off in the attack but he is chipped. He is hurt and scared.

Please if you see him call her any time day or night. He is very precious to a lot of people.
