Jojo is a strong dog but he is only 15 lbs and could not defend himself when attacked by a roughly 50 lb dog. The dog who attacked Jojo picked him up by the mouth, threw him, and grabbed him again repeatedly.
I, the 20 year old child in the household, had to run down, chase, and fight the dog so that he would release my dog from his mouth. Jojo was bleeding bad, couldn’t walk well, and his breathing was in the form of a wheeze.
My parents then took him to the hospital, while I looked over my 9 year old sister, and found out after paying $500, that he suffered from a possible punctured lung, internal bleeding, and broken rib.
Jojo is now staying at a local hospital over night for a couple of days and will need surgery and recovery help. The expenses will amount to roughly $10,000 and I’m just asking anyone who felt touched or wants to lend a hand that anything counts especially during Christmas time.
