New York: Jillian Nolan, 26, accused of locking dog inside abandoned car and leaving it to slowly die

NEW YORK -- The investigation into a deceased dog by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Animal Cruelty office has resulted in a 26 year old Bath woman being charged.

The investigation began in September after police received a report of a dead dog located in a vehicle on Buck Settlement Road in the town of Bath.

Jillian Nolan now faces a charge of abandonment of an animal for allegedly abandoning the dog in May and not checking on it.

Nolan, who is currently in Steuben County Jail on an unrelated charge, was issued an appearance ticket.
