Police Search For Dogs That Killed Horse In Mint Hill

NORTH CAROLINA -- Police say they are searching for two dogs that killed a horse in Mint Hill. 
The pit bulls attacked the horse on Dan Hood Road near Idlewild Road Wednesday. 

Police say the dog's names are Bubba and Chucky but they haven't been seen since Wednesday night. 

Mint Hill Middle School is located a short distance from where the attack happened.  School officials say they will have extra police patrolling the area to make sure students and staff are safe. 

Police are asking the public to call 704-847-5555 if you see the dogs.
