Man accused of killing cats sentenced to 3 years probation

ARIZONA -- A man accused of killing cats in a Mesa neighborhood was sentenced Wednesday morning, but only for stealing one cat.

Scott Graham admitted to taking the animal, but claimed he never hurt it.

He was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to be under house arrest for 30 days and will have to undergo counseling.

Surveillance video from August 8, 2012 captured someone grabbing a cat from the roof of a car in a Mesa neighborhood. The cat was later found mutilated.
