County attempting to seize home of dog owner in pit bull attack

OHIO -- Hamilton County officials are attempting to order the residents of 2973 Aquadale Lane out of their home. Volores Lee lives there with her son Zontae Irby, the man who owns the pit bulls that attacked a 6-year-old girl.

The injunction was filed on Monday and states the home is a public nuisance.

Earlier this month, Zontae Irby's two pit bulls attacked Zainabou Drame right outside the home. Police found stolen weapons and drugs inside the home after the incident.

Irby's brother Dierres Lee also has the Aquadale Lane home as his official address. Lee was sentenced to 12 years in prison after he admitted to killing a La Salle High School student last year in a drug deal gone wrong.

Court documents show that authorities have received numerous complaints of drug activity at the Aquadale Lane residence dating back to 2007.

  1. The thing is, this is Ohio. It wasn't the pit bulls getting loose and attacking that was the problem. It was the drug charges that caused all the trouble. The attack just drew attention to the perps. In Ohio your pit bull can kill someone after multiple complaints to AC and police and NOTHING will happen to you.
