Two more charged with animal cruelty in Klein investigation

TEXAS -- Two additional arrests have been made in connection to animal cruelty at Klein Animal Shelter, according to Jacksonville Police Chief Reece Daniel.
 
Jason Craft, 29, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor cruelty to non-livestock animals late Tuesday, Daniel said.


Henry, suffering a broken back after being being hit by a car, was left to
suffer for a week in a cage at the shelter without proper care.
 
On Wednesday morning, police arrested and charged Ashley Ruhl, 29, with felony cruelty to animals – torture.

Bond was set for $1,500 for Craft and $2,500 for Ruhl, officials said.

He said “ … I expect to see more warrants and charges forthcoming but for the moment, we have everyone we have charged.”
