Woman seriously injured by 3 dogs at animal hospital near Bozeman

MONTANA -- A woman was reportedly hospitalized after being attacked by three dogs this morning.

According to Gallatin County Sheriff's Lt. Ryan Stratman, an employee at Montana Veterinary Hospital off Huffine Lane was attacked by three American bulldogs.

The call for assistance came in at 11:30 a.m. Stratman says he believes the dogs were being moved to a kennel at the time of the attack.


The victim is a woman from Three Forks. She was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital with serious injuries.

A person who knows the woman called KBZK and says she was in surgery tonight needing skin grafts. Law enforcement arrived on scene and made contact with the owner of the dogs. The owner gave permission and the dogs were put down. All three were taken to Marsh Diagnostic Lab in Bozeman for testing.
