St. Bernard rescued from mud released from animal hospital

PENNSYLVANIA -- The St. Bernard who was found stuck in mud last week has been released from an animal hospital.

WJAC-TV spoke with the owner who said Tilly has been released from the Animal Medical Center in Somerset.

 
 

Officials say she was found stuck in the mud last week covered up to her head.

The owner told 6 News that Tilly is 13 years old and was treated by the vet, but is still recovering.

She has been completely shaved and has to wear a cone around her neck as she recovers from the incident.
