24 Greyhounds at Tulsa Humane society after animal cruelty investigation

I'm not quite sure why the entire article is talking about Greyhounds when, clearly, the photos show all sorts of dogs. Maybe the photos were from another raid and were accidentally placed with the article??

OKLAHOMA -- The Humane Society of Tulsa assisted the Grant County Sheriffs Office with their investigation of animal cruelty and the seizure of 24 dogs Tuesday.

Officials said the owner voluntarily relinquished the animals to the Humane Society and are at the adoption center.

The dogs range in age from young puppies to young adults. They are Greyhounds and Greyhound mixes.  Some were too weak to stand or walk; many were emaciated and receiving emergency care.

The Humane Society describes the dogs as "gentle giants" with sweet personalities and in desperate need of love and attention.

The Humane Society needs volunteers to help bathe and feed and care for the greyhounds. They are also asking for foster homes or families willing to adopt one of these dogs.
