Arturo Aleman, who is accused of mutilating a horse to death backs-out of plea deal

TEXAS -- The man accused of cutting out the female parts of a horse, Yannaha, was back in court Monday morning at the San Patricio County Courthouse.

Arturo Aleman backed out of his agreed upon plea deal at that last minute.

The plea deal was that he would pay $8,000 dollars in restitution and five years probation for animal cruelty.

Yannaha was found with her female genitalia cut out and was left for dead in a Gregory Field.

The Rockport horse rescue cared for her for weeks until she finally succumbed to her injuries.

Aleman will be back in court Friday.
