Dogs Removed From Fayette County House With Insects, Feces

OHIO -- Four dogs were removed from what authorities called horrific conditions inside a home in Fayette County.

The Fayette County Humane Society received a tip that bugs were coming from a home in Pancoastburg Wednesday morning. The tipster also indicated that animals were heard inside the home.

Three English bulldogs and one Miniature Pinscher were removed from the home. Authorities said the dogs have skin infections that veterinarians said could be cured.  The dogs were described as friendly.

The homeowner is expected to be charged in the coming week.

In addition to the insect infestation, people who removed the animals said the dogs were in cages that were full of feces.
