Please do not donate as the owner of the little dog Buddy has refused to get the medical services he was in need for.

We are sadly not able to help him since the owner removed her dog from the veterinarian hospital.

If we are able to recover him now it sound like it's to late as he took a turn for the worst.

However we are still praying that the owner works with law enforcement and we can help Buddy,  if we are able to we will definitely keep you posted on Facebook as well as our sanctuary website.

Update 1
Okay, here is an update on Buddy. The situation has turned dire. His lacerations on his abdomen are now infected. He is at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Marcos, California. If you can please share this and get more people involved we can get him the treatment and care that he needs before it's to late, he cannot wait that much longer without treatment. Right now he is suffering, if the surgery is not performed euthanization maybe his last resort.

All donations are being sent back to all donors, please make sure you got your refund within 7 days GoFundMe has stated it could take up to that time, unfortunately the owner of Buddy took him from the veterinarian hospital and is not going to treat her dog, we are saddened by this and its unfortunate as Buddy is going to die.

We have worked with the Sheriff's department on a recovery mission however that didn't end well as now animal welfare is going to be taken over and law as we can not help as a sanctuary home now as its 100% out of our hands.

Its Buddy who needs help and it is him who is the victim that unfortunately we reached out to help but the owner is mentally unstable and isn't capable of being a responsible pet owner.

The owner needs to be charged with Animal Cruelty and Buddy needs to be taken for the needed vet care immediately. No, the owner will NOT go to jail. They will likely make her surrender Buddy, find a better home for him, and hopefully ban her from having animals for her unsupervised probation time - which won't be more than a year. That's hardly any punishment at all - but to leave Buddy suffering these horrifically painful injuries is outrageous.

California: Hungry bear breaks into a house to snack on bread and fruit before being chased away by deputies

LAKE TAHOE, CALIFORNIA -- A hungry bear broke into a California home and snacked on bread and fruit before deputies were able to chase it away.

Footage from inside the house in Northstar, North Lake Tahoe, shows the bear rifling through bags of groceries on a kitchen island.

It was posted to Facebook on Thursday by the Placer County Sheriff's Office, which branded the animal 'hungry and fearless'.

Bears are coming out of hibernation and deputies say this particular bear broke into the house specifically to look for food.

Fortunately the bear was chased away without causing any injuries or property damage.

The Sheriff's Office wrote online: 'This afternoon, this hungry and fearless bear broke into a home at Northstar, North Lake Tahoe, to get some groceries.

'The homeowners called us, and our deputies were able to chase him out of the house, after he snacked on some fruit and bread!

'As bears are coming out of hibernation, please use utmost caution if you encounter them.

'In this case, the homeowners were very grateful to the deputies who got the bear out of their house with no injuries and no property damage.'

Blessed to have gone back home last week and spend time with the folks, a few friends, and of course my favorite Pughuahua, Li’i. Although it wasn’t on the best of terms (we are still mourning the loss of our beloved Chihuahua Duke who was killed by a pit bull on Ilimano Street in Kailua), seeing family and living Hawaii for a bit is always a blessing. Love you guys! Duke, aloha braddah..until we meet again soon!  ❤️

California: Police say Nathan Flores tortured, choked and tried to drown a puppy

This evening officers arrested Nathan Flores for animal cruelty.

Flores found a dog in the Fresno River, abandoned. Flores was later seen by neighbors choking the little puppy and holding the puppy under running water from a faucet. The puppy was having trouble breathing as it was trying to cry. 

We were able to save the puppy and dry him from the cold water. 

Flores was transported and booked into MCDOC and the dog was placed in the animal shelter. If anyone would like to adopt this beautiful little puppy feel free to contact the animal shelter for information. The phone number to the animal shelter is 559-675-7891. SB3372

We have received numerous requests from people wishing to adopt the puppy that was terribly mistreated by Nathan Flores last night.

The owners of the puppy have come forward and reported the puppy was stolen from the porch of their residence.

OK....I'm a bit traumatized after watching a horrific attack of a small dog by a pit bull. The small dog didn't have a chance and now it's gone.

You can't enter the dog world and not have contact with pit bulls, who along with chihuahuas are the most common dog mix/breed adopted from shelters.

Can pit bull owners understand the real fears of those who don't own pits, having them around their pets?

California: Parents arrested on child endangerment charges after their Pit Bull mauled their 3-year-old son

CALIFORNIA -- A pit bull mauled a 3-year-old Wednesday in North Edwards after the child fell out of a window and into a dog run while the child's mother slept, sheriff's officials said.

A neighbor heard the attack, tore down a portion of chain-link fence and rescued the child, according to sheriff's officials.

The child suffered severe facial injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. 

Sheriff's officials said the child is expected to survived.

"During the course of the investigation, deputies found the home to be filthy and living conditions were hazardous and not suitable for children," officials said in a news release. 

The child's mother, Samantha Meyers, 22, and Nathan Albey, 25, were arrested on felony child endangerment charges, according to the release.

An 8-month-old female at the home was taken into protective custody by Child Protective Services.

The incident occurred at about 3:19 p.m. in the 13000 block of Davenport Street.

My best buddy Patch was attacked by a Pit Bull last Saturday.

So far 975.00 in vet bills. These people claim to be broke yet drive a Mercedes AMG. I filed a report with Animal Control. Patch seems to be doing better now. He is still a bit shaken.

I need to get him back to the vet today to look at a swollen area on his shoulder that began to drain on its own last night.

California: In court documents, celebrity sisters Kim and Kyle Richards arguing over whose fault it is that Kim's Pit Bull has repeatedly attacked people

CALIFORNIA -- It’s every Richards sister for themselves in a dog bite lawsuit where Kyle Richards is accusing Kim Richards of lying to her about getting rid of her pit bull after the dog attacked her daughter and others.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kyle is demanding she be dismissed from a lawsuit filed by Kim’s former assistant and placing the blame for everything squarely on Kim.

Back in 2016, Paige Sanderson sued Kim and her sister Kyle over a pit bull attack. Sanderson claimed she went over to Kim’s home to dress for a “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” promotional event.

Once she arrived at the condo and saw Kim’s pit bull Kingsley, Sanderson says she ran into the bathroom out of fear. Sanderson says Kim told her not to be worried and she came out of the bathroom … but then the dog attacked.

She claims Kingsley lunged at her, biting and holding on to her lower abdomen and crotch. The pit bull then tore off some of her clothes, Sanderson claims, and ripped out portions of her flesh.

Kim allegedly refused to call 911 unless her personal assistant told the responders that a stray dog bit her and not Kingsley.

Kyle was listed as a defendant because she owned the property where the attack took place.

Sanderson sued for unspecified damages for emotional distress and medical bills.

In the new filing, Kyle says the only reason she is named in the case is because she bought Kim the condo where the incident took place. Kyle claims she does not get paid rent by her sister.

 

 

She says Kim is free to live at the property as she pleases and has done so since she moved in there in December 2015. Kyle claims she has to obtain Kim’s permission before visiting the property.

Kyle points out that she was not present during the alleged dog attack. Further, she claims Kim never told her that Kingsley was living at the condo until she was sued by Sanderson.

Kyle says she did not permit or condone Kingsley being present at the home or living with Kim. She says she didn’t even visit her sister from the time she moved in until April 2016

She says she believed Kim had given away Kingsley in November 2014 because Kim told her the dog went to live with a trainer.

The reality star points out that Kim even said this on a “RHOBH” reunion special. The two allegedly did not have any conversations about Kingsley until Kyle was hit with the suit.

Kyle explains Kim’s dog bit her daughter Alexia which caused strife between them for some time, and understandably lead Kyle to believe her sister would not allow Kingsley back into her home.

She is asking the court to dismiss her completely from the lawsuit. The case is ongoing.

PIT BULL ALLOWED TO ATTACK AT LEAST FOUR PEOPLE
Kim has had a series of incidents with this Pit Bull: four people have claimed the dog attacked them, including Kyle’s daughter, Alexia, who was attacked and hospitalized in 2014.

Kay Rozario says she was in Kim's bedroom in March 2014 when she reached over the bed and Kingsley attacked her, biting through her hand all the way to the bone. The dog also went for her face but she blocked it with her arm, which was also injured.

Rozario told TMZ ... "Kim's first reaction was, 'Please don't tell anyone.  I'll lose my show'."

Paramedics came and wanted to call animal control, but Rozario talked them out of it and said Kim would handle it.

CALIFORNIA -- Twice in five months, an El Cajon mother has had to sprint through her yard to reach her son who had been attacked by a neighbor’s pit bull.

Despite the physical and emotional trauma the attacks have caused to her entire family, she could find herself racing to protect her children from the same dog a third time.

“It was a matter of five to ten seconds -- Quick," Llara Sutherland said, describing the moment her son Atreyu was bitten on Monday. "The dog turned and just went.”

Atreyu was in his yard watering plants when he was blindsided by the medium-sized, but extremely muscular dog. He said he heard some barking and thought nothing of it and next thing he knew the pit bull was bolting in his direction.

Bandages on Atreyu's right bicep cover up the scratches and punctures left behind by the dog's fierce grip.

 

 

The first attack happened around Halloween of last year while Atreyu was helping his dad put up yard decorations. Then, he suffered multiple bite injuries to his leg.

Since the most recent attack, the dog is being kept at the City of El Cajon's Shelter.

The city, however, told the Sutherland family that there is a possibility that the pit could be returned to their neighbor's home.

The thought of the dog returning to the block frightens the whole Sutherland family and leaves them questioning how it could even be possible.

“The first time it happened should have been enough," Llara said. "It was enough for me.”

 

 

Llara said both her son and daughter have had to take anxiety medication following the attacks because the dog wasn't immediately removed from the property and its presence scared the kids.

“If the dog can get him it can get me, it can get anyone else in the neighborhood,” Atreyu's sister Crystine said.

Llara said that while the dog was still on the property, she nor her kids felt safe. She said that she had to stand on the porch and watch them pass the house on their walk to school, and in some cases drive them to and pick them up from school herself.

As an owner of two dogs, including one pit bull, Llara said it isn't an issue about breed. Instead, it's an issue about responsible dog ownership and whether or not the city will do the right thing.

“If my dogs attacked a person, a human being, then they wouldn’t be my dogs," Llara said. "It’s just as simple as that.”

The city has told Llara that the dog could return to its owner's property with certain restrictions like a muzzle order.

Llara said she's contacted the city attorney's office and threatened litigation against the city and county if the dog is brought back.

The pit bull is currently under quarantined for 10 days while Animal Services investigates the incidents to determine if it should be considered a dangerous dog.

Why didn't they do this after the FIRST attack???
