Trinity Sheriff’s Office Responds To Animal Cruelty Reports

TEXAS -- The Trinity County Sheriff's Office responded to two complaints of Animal Cruelty on Friday, Sept. 6, 2013.

 

 

According to a press release from Sheriff Woody Wallace, the office received a report of animal cruelty in the Trinity area.

After investigating the complaint, officers were able to obtain a warrant for the seizure of 18 head of cattle. This group of livestock was severely malnourished, with no grass, hay or feed available.

 



The Trinity Sheriff’s Office also served a warrant for seizure for livestock in the Nogalus Prairie area that day on an identical case of malnourishment with lack of feed, hay or grass.

Criminal charges are being filed against both livestock owners.
