Missouri: Girl very passionate about being against BSL for pit bulls. Trouble is, most of her facts are completely wrong.

MISSOURI -- Both sharks and pit bulls get a bad rap for causing human deaths but every year 33,000 people are killed in motor vehicle accidents, 50,000 are killed by snakes, 725,000 people are killed by mosquito-born diseases and humans murder around 475,000 other humans.

Let's not forget that 1.2 MILLION dogs are euthanized each year also, so let's put a ban on people and maybe we will start saving lives. HUMANS ARE THE PROBLEM! adopt don't shop.

According to Wikipedia, SIX people died from snakebites last year in the USA. SIX. Not 50,000 like she says.

According to the CDC, in 2015, there were 15,809 homicide deaths in the USA. Not 475,000 like she says.

This is a perfect example of people just randomly throwing out facts and people reading them and being naive enough to believe them - and repost them. Case in point: The people who began telling everyone pit bulls were "nanny dogs". They weren't.
