Alabama: Ethan Towne, 18, thinks it's fun to shoot and kill people's donkeys

ALABAMA -- A Dadeville man has been charged with aggravated cruelty after sheriffs say he shot and killed an animal in the Goldville Community.

According to the Tallapoosa County Sheriff's office, 18-year-old Ethan Christopher Towne was arrested on Thursday and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and discharging a firearm upon or across a public road.

Investigators say on November 25th the Alabama Department of Fish and Game and received a report that a donkey had been shot and killed in a pasture on Alabama Highway 49.

An investigation identified Towne as the suspect.

Towne was placed in the Tallaspoosa County Jail under a $30,000 bond.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
