Montana: Animal control officer Braden Blodnick arrested after he was caught smoking meth in his county vehicle

MONTANA -- The animal control officer in Anaconda is in the doghouse after he was caught allegedly doing drugs while on duty last week.

Anaconda police report that the city's animal control officer Braden Lawrence Blodnick, 37, was arrested Monday in connection with allegedly smoking methamphetamine last week while on duty in a county-owned vehicle.

Police installed a hidden camera in the vehicle after informants told them that Blodnick had been selling meth while on duty.

Police Chief Tim Barkell said the video allegedly showed Blodnick smoking meth and shooting a pellet gun from the window of the vehicle.

He remains in jail Thursday on $30,000 bond.
