New York: Herkimer man Terrance Watson, 47, charged after kicking puppy in head

NEW YORK -- A Herkimer man was charged with animal cruelty after police said he was seen kicking a puppy in the head.

Terrance Watson, 47, of 201 N. Main St. in Herkimer was arrested after witnesses reported seeing him kicking the dog near his home Thursday afternoon, Herkimer police said.

Police said the dog was secured and turned over to the dog control officer.

Watson is to appear in court at a later date.
