Maryland: Natalie Pensinger, 28, arrested after she didn't bother to show up in court on an animal cruelty charge

MARYLAND -- A city woman was arrested Monday, May 1st after she failed to appear in district court in an animal cruelty case.

Natalie Ann Pensinger, 28, was arrested by Cumberland Police on a bench warrant stemming from an investigation last month.

Pensinger was transported to the district court commissioner’s office for her initial appearance. As a result of the hearing she was released pending trial in district court.

Pensinger was just arrested about two months ago, charged with destruction of property, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, and carrying a concealed weapon.

A city woman was charged with carrying a concealed weapon Saturday night after officers allegedly found her with a large fixed blade knife.

Natalie Ann Pensinger, 28, was also charged with destruction of property, disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.

Officers responded to a West First Street residence for a disturbance at 8:47 p.m. Pensinger broke a door window before leaving the home, said police.

Officers found Pensinger walking nearby and she was taken into custody without incident.

She was released pending trial in district court.
