Oklahoma: Police officers saves two baby geese whose family was wiped out on the interstate

OKLAHOMA -- The Oklahoma City Police Department posted on Facebook May 10, 2017

Today, Sgt. Jesse Childers saw a family of geese walking in the middle of Interstate 40 near May Ave.

Sadly, before he could stop traffic, several of the geese were struck by passing vehicles.

Thankfully however, Sgt. Childers was able to rescue two of the goslings.

The baby birds were taken to Animal Welfare to be evaluated.
