United Kingdom: Elderly woman suffers horror injuries after being mauled by raging "black and white Collie" while waiting at a bus stop

UNITED KINGDOM -- Anne Kelly, 72, was attacked near her home in Hildenborough, Kent, after being approached by a woman walking three dogs.

The pensioner was in hospital for two days after suffering a sickening gash to her arm and needing a skin graft to help heal her wound.

She told Sun Online: "It all happened in a split second, its teeth were embedded in my arm and she had to pull it off. I was in agony.

"She just walked off with the dogs which I think is disgusting. There's a school nearby and it could have been a child but she couldn't have cared less.

"It was only when I got back home and took off my coat when I realized there was blood everywhere. I was so shocked and all over the place and my daughter had to take me to hospital.

"The dog should be put down and I wanted this woman to be caught before it strikes again."

Kent Police is now investigating the incident, which took place at around 1pm on Monday, and appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 1.20pm on November 20, 2017 to reports a person had been injured after being bitten by a dog in Hildenborough.

"A woman was walking along a footpath off Ashley Road when a dog described as a black and white collie is said to have bitten her, leaving her with serious injuries to her arm.

Black and white collie.. do they mean a Border Collie?

"It is reported the person walking the dog, which was on a lead, left the scene after the victim called out to them."

Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/034679/17.
