Missouri: Tracy Newton, 44, arrested after violating his animal cruelty probation terms

MISSOURI -- Although Tracy Newton was charged with felony animal cruelty in relation to 10 starving, emaciated pit bulls, it appears as though they let him take a plea deal that included dropping the felony charges down to misdemeanors and only getting him to plea to 2 counts instead of the 10 counts of cruelty.

And, Newton being Newton, he didn't last  long before he violated the terms of his probation -- which typically says don't get arrested while you're on probation. Wow, that's so complicated!

Tracy Lee Newton, 44, Carrollton, was arrested on a Livingston County arrest warrant for alleged Probation Violation on original convictions on 2 class A misdemeanor counts of Animal Abuse. Mr. Newton was unable to post the $5,000 bond and transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
